DatePod.ai is operated by Waggle AI, based in San Diego, California. We build audio-first connection experiences. You can reach us at privacy@datepod.ai.

• —Account information: email address, display name, date of birth, gender, and location.
• —Voice interview audio and transcripts from your DatePod interview session.
• —Profile photos uploaded after identity verification.
• —Identity verification status — we store whether you have been verified, not your ID document details. ID verification is processed by Stripe Identity and Stripe's privacy policy governs that data.
• —Location data at the city and zip code level for match distance calculation. We do not collect precise GPS location.
• —Usage data including how you interact with the platform to improve matching and product quality.
• —Payment information is processed by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID — never your card details.

• —To generate your DatePod audio profile and relationship pods.
• —To match you with compatible members based on your interview responses and preferences.
• —To verify your identity and confirm you meet our age requirement of 18 or older.
• —To process your subscription and manage your account.
• —To send you notifications about matches, friend council responses, and platform updates.
• —To improve our AI matching and pod generation systems using aggregated, anonymized data.

• —We never sell your personal data to third parties.
• —We never share your data with advertisers.
• —We never show ads on DatePod.
• —We never store your government ID document details — only your verified status.
• —We never share your chemistry score with your matches.
• —We never reveal who declined a connection.

You can access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, interview audio, photos, and personal information within 24 hours.

California residents have additional rights under CCPA including the right to know what data we collect, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of sale — which we do not engage in. Contact privacy@datepod.ai to exercise any of these rights.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account we delete your personal data within 24 hours. We retain anonymized, aggregated data for product improvement purposes. Financial records are retained for 7 years as required by law.

DatePod uses the following third party services to operate:
